Pallets Pallets and more pallets, All these pallets are commonly used in UK warehouses, goods yard, building sites, superstores etc. They are used to carry a wide range of common goods. Pallets come in 5 Types. Albeit Type 0 is similar to type 1 and 2 and has been added for the sake of defining its particular pallet design.  Type 5 pallets are also called half pallets but are not listed on this listing.

Type 1 pallets: This is the most commonly used type and is one of the only pallets that can be used interchangeably in all storage systems. Any type of forklift or pallet handling machine and easily handle these types.

Side A: Good for storage in a pallet racking units, Side B: Good for Storage in drive-in pallet racks, push-back with trolleys and pallet shuttle systems.

Type 2 pallets:

The use of these pallets is quite widespread in some countries. Apparently they are produced in accordance with euro pallet standards. They can be stored on pallet racks, drive-in pallet racks, trolly push-back and pallet shuttle racking units. It is said that they can cause problems in systems operated by gravity and in roller push-back systems. They are also not ideal for user with stacker systems or bilateral forklifts, expect when fitted with skids.

Type 3 & 4 Pallets:

These can be stored on pallet racks or drive-in racks, trolly push-back systems and pallet racking units. They cannot be used in system with gravity or roller push-back systems.

Product Information:
Plastic which can be painted using Acrylic paint or airbrushed after base layer. Made from Polylactic Acid and are fairly strong, however, take care on thinner parts like with all models.
